Join us in Southern Vermont for the retreat of a lifetime…
August 23 - 26, 2024, at the Alpenrose Inn in Winhall, Vermont
-
Practice Yoga in Community
Gather twice daily for meditation, pranayama, and asana practice with the cool mountain breeze. All experience levels are welcome. Classes adapted to each attending individual and the needs of the collective group. We hope you leave with a more nuanced understanding of the body, and restorative practices to take home with you.
-
Daily Creativity Workshops
Cultivate your creativity through daily instructor lad practices that connect us to our natural world. Each day we will play with herbs and flowers, art supplies, and our own imagination to create art, remedies, and treasures for you to bring home with you.
-
Garden Fresh and Homecooked
Share three delicious meals each day prepared by the owner of the Alpen Rose, Anne, who has called this land home for more than 30 years. We will eat our meals together in the cozy dining room, under the sky on the porch, or next to the water, at a nearby pond, where we will spend lunch swimming before free time in the afternoon.
Please share any dietary needs when completing the registration survey.

Farmer, Land Steward, & Photographer
Aeran grew up at the Alpen Rose Inn with her family, dreaming of hosting retreats on the land that raised her. For her, it is a great honor to welcome people here, and share this beautiful space.
She has spent the last decade slowly cultivating flower, fruit, vegetable, and herb gardens at the inn and around Turtle Island, and works to bring food sovereignty to other areas of her home in Southern Vermont. Aeran will support all attendees with accommodations, co-lead creativity workshops, and tour the many gardens and trails surrounding the inn.
Inclusivity Expectations & Commitment
We are committed to creating an environment open to all the many walks of life in the human experience. Your accessibility needs will be strongly considered and accommodated as we are best able. Your positive and restorative experience is of the utmost importance, and we are committed to a weekend without stress, frustration, or harm.
Behavior that causes emotional, physical, or psychological strife to any guests or staff will risk your dismissal from the retreat. Under no circumstances will racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, or ableism be tolerated by guests, attendees, or staff.
A more expanded code of conduct will be required of all attendees, and it boils down to what is sure to be simple:
Be respectful to yourself and each other.
